Meet Laura!

Laura Bunn, Senior, Chassis sub-team

Laura chose engineering because she knew it would be of interest to her. It is important to her to have real engineering experiences while in college. This past summer Laura studied bats in China to help create a better sonar device. “I helped track points on the ears, head and nose leaf with a high-speed camera to study how they alter the shape of the nose leaf while emitting the sonar pulse and move their ears to catch the pulse.”

Fun fact about Laura: “I am a vegetarian marathon runner.”
