Lucas Smith, Senior, Suspension sub team

Lucas focuses on the front hub design and helps with the upright design. Lucas had an internship in Charlotte, NC as a mechanical design engineering intern. Lucas decided to study engineering because he wanted a job he could enjoy without being confined to a desk. “Baja is important to me because of the people on the team. This years team has a great dynamic, with friendly and hardworking individuals who have exceeded my expectations, because of this I'm proud to say I'm a member of this team,” says Lucas.

Fun fact about Lucas: “The only bone I've broken is my skull.”
